Dear Jemina:
Small Worries But Much Happiness?
Due to my disastrous hand tremor and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), many times I was denied a job; I have been very frustrated and depressed.
About three months ago, I was referred to the Santa Clara County Mental Health Services. On the 1st appointment, I presented to the psychiatrist that most of my health problems (depression, CTS, etc...) resulted from a ruinous high fever at a young age. I also said that hadn't I read spiritual and religious books, I would have been a lunatic. I had had an ordinary and simple wish: my precious well-being would be restored, a treasure that I had possessed. After four visits, he said he didn't find out in me any serious mental disorder.
Afterwards, I was again referred to a neurologist. After a thorough exam, he asked me when did the hand tremor and CTS begin, I replied that I suffered from it when I was about 14 years old.
About two weeks later, in a lucid dream, I found a lot of greenbacks. The morning after, I eagerly consulted the book "10,000 Dreams Interpreted" by Gustavus Miller, my recently-bought bargain-price (originally $30, now $8,50) precious ones. This dream denotes small worries, but much happiness and changes will follow. Let's hope it will happen!
Before ending the letter, I wish God bless you and grant me serenity so I could tolerate these unavoidable afflictions. Amen.
Kind regards,
Tai Tran
